Glynn W. Eiland

The family of Glynn W. Eiland, 69, of Troy who died Thursday, Aug.1, 2002, at The Russell Medical Center in Alexander City will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. E.S.T. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in Columbus, Ga.

Mr. Eiland was born in Columbus, Ga., June 15, 1933, son of the late William Archie and Ruby McGlaun Eiland. He was retired from Troy State University where he served as chairman of the Criminal Justice Department.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Eiland of Troy; two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Tracie Eiland and their children, Austin and Mackenzie all of Abbeville, and Robert and

Chasity Eiland and their children, Sterlyn and Donovan, all of Troy and a sister, Ramona Hambrick of Columbus Georgia.

Lucy Trotman Nall

A memorial service for Lucy Trotman Nall, 101, of Viera, Fla., who died Wednesday, July 31, 2002, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002, at First Baptist Church of Troy with Dr. Ed Walter officiating.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery on Knox Street in Troy under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Mrs. Nall was a Entrepreneur.

Survivors include two daughters, Glennie N. Barnard and Mary N. Hollis; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Sara I. McLeod

Sara I. McLeod, 84, 200 Bruce St. Apt 37, Troy, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, at Edge Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 5, 2002, at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be heldSunday, Aug. 4, 2002, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home is Troy.

She was preceded in death by her shuband, Shelby McLeod, two daughters, Margaret Wooten and Sue Turner, two grandchildren, Danny Rushing and Gene Turner, and by seven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Mildred Rushing of Troy; a son, Max McLeod of Troy; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Bobbie Watkins of Georgia; several nieces and nephews.

Peggy Turk Locklar

Graveside services for Peggy Turk Locklar, 74, of Boynton Beach, Fla., who died Tuesday, July 30, 2002, in Boynton Beach will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, in Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy with Rev. Steve Rascoe officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Haskell "Doc" Locklar in 2001.

Survivors include

two sons and their wives, J, Scott and Sue Locklar, DC of Baynton Beach Fla., and Jeffrey A and Janet Locklar of Calif.; daughter and her husband, Marianne and Dale Hammack of Wellington, Fla.; grandchildren, Scott and Brian Locklar, Sarah and Katie Hammack and Jason Locklar; two great-grandchildren, Kylie and Cameron Locklar; brother, Aquilla Turk of Tallahassee, Fla., and two sisters, Ann Taylor of Oxnard, Calif. and Mary Baruch of West Palm Beach, Fla.
