S. Diane Middleton

Mrs. S. Diane Middleton, age 49 of 38 Matt Road, Clio, Alabama, passed away from cancer in her home on Wednesday, June 12, 2202 at 5:40 a.m.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy, Friday, June 14, 2002 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2002 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy after which Mrs. Middleton will be created. Reverend Clifford Mathews will be officiating. Dillard Funeral Home of Troy is directing.

Survivors included her beloved husband, Bobby Ray Middleton of Clio; her beloved daughters, Tammy Diane Sisneros of Troy; Tania Michelle Green of the Ebenezer Community; Trisha Dawn Griffin of Omaha, NE., Tara Lee Bevelheimer, Troy; Grandchildren, Tamara Renee McLendon, Payton Leigh Green, Lauren Ryann Green, Jonathan Green, Kellen Green, Justice Keith Griffin and Daria Nicole Griffin; Sisters, Luvenia Johnson of Newberry Srings, CA., Ollie M. Ramsey of Baxley, GA., Yvonne Morrison of Auburndale, Fla. and Patricia D. Molnar of Branford, Fla.; Brothers, Walter E. Sloan of Polk City, Fla., Larry A. Sloan of Zepher Hills, Fla., Ronnie L. Sloan, Dover, Fla.; Numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Middleton was born on April 3, 1953 in Plant City, Fla to the late Clara M. Fowler-Sloan and the late William L. Sloan. Mrs. Middleton had several careers in her lifetime. She worked many years as a home health nurse, a substitute teacher and a small business owner. She felt her most important job was being mother to her four children. Mrs. Middleton had several interests that were important to her life. They were her family, gardening and her poetry. She was a wonderful writer.

Mrs. Middleton was a former resident of 106 First Street, Troy, Ala and of Rurul Route 6 Box 125-T in the Ebenezer Community. She was a member of both First Baptist Church and The Word of Life Church.
