Services for Mary C. Porter, 69, of Troy who died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at Edge Regional Medical Center will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Marvin Jackson officiating.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2002, at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Porter, Sr. of Troy; son and his wife, J. R. and Faye Porter of Troy; Daughter and her husband, Marie and Robert Kelley of Troy; grandchildren, Philisha Walker, Robert Walker and Brent Porter and a great-grandchild, Stephen Walker.
Jerry W. Taylor
Services for Jerry W. Taylor, 64, of Montgomery who died in a local hospital Saturday, June 1, 2002, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at Leak Memory Chapel in Montgomery with speakers Mark Trevathan and Mark Taylor and Minister Mitch Temple officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Leak Memory Chapel.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8p.m. Tuesday June 04, 2002 at the funeral home.
Mr. Taylor was a member of Vaughn Park Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Parker Taylor; two sons, Brooks Anthony Taylor and Mark Wayne Taylor both of Seattle, Washington; daughter, Angela Rae Taylor of Sterling, Virginia; three sisters and husband, Carolyn O’Steen of Troy, Betty Jean and James Wilson of Huntsville, and Evelyn Lee of Phenix City.
Mary Alice "Bunny" Williford
Mary Alice "Bunny" Williford, 67, Rt. 2, Box 84, Dozier, died Friday, May 31, 2002, at Andalusia Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be Sunday, June 2, 2002, at 4 p.m. from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with the Rev. Carmen Parrish officiating.
Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of troy directing. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2002 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
Survivors include her husband, George Kirvin Williford, Sr. of Dozier; a daughter, Debbie Mock of Enterprise; a son and daughter-in-law, George K. and Debi Williford, Jr. of Marianna, Fla.; grandchildren, Tara Mock of Enterprise, Hunter Mock of Enterprise and Heather Williford of Andalusia; a sister, Jo Ann Mayhew of Blairsville, Ga.; eight sisters-in-law and seven brothers-in-law; Ann and Terry Sport, Sandra and Buckey Walker, Linda Greene, Sherry and James Wood, Betty Faye and Bill Harp, Peggy Kaye and Jim Stinson, Pam and Ray Coots, Cindy and Pete Whitehead; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Charlie and Marie Williford, Henry and Diane Williford and several other family members.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Clark, Hunter Mock, Terry Sport, Jim Stinson, Joe Vieira and Henry Williford.
