Mary Lamb

Graveside services for Mary Lamb, 96, of Montgomery who died Sunday, May 19, 2002, at John Knox Manor in Montgomery will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy.

Burial will follow under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Family and friends will gather at the home of Robin Rowe, 707 Mansion Street, Wetumpka, following the service for a Potluck Lunch.

Miss Lamb taught seventh and eighth grade English and ninth grade Civics for approximately 40 years in Troy. She received her Masters Degree from Auburn University and served on the Text Book Committee for the State of Alabama. She was also a member of DAR and Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority.

Survivors include a brother and his wife, Dr. Robert H. and Mary Lamb of Salt Lake City, Utah, and several nieces and nephews.

The family request memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

Honorary Pallbearers are Robert E. Culver, Charles Rowe, Patrick Rowe and Robert Rowe.

Aimee Stewart Phillips

A memorial service for Aimee Stewart Phillips, 24, of Kingwood, W. Va., who died Friday, May 17, 2002, as the result of an automobile accident will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at Taylor Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Uphold officiating.

Mrs. Phillips

was born Dec. 7, 1977, in Wiesbaden, West Germany, a daughter of Jeffrey and Tracy Crawford Stewart. She graduated in 1996 from Bradwell Institute. She was employed at Morgan’s Foodland in Kingwood in the deli.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Patricia Ellen Crawford and uncle, Buddy Crawford.

In addition to her parents, survivors are her husband, James Ernest Phillips; son, Gregory Scott Phillips; daughter, Rebecca Phillips; sister, Jessica Stewart of Hinesville, Ga.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rev Rodney Phillips and his wife, Delores of Tunnelton; paternal grandparents, Donald Wade and Winnie Merle Stewart of Troy; four uncles, two aunts, four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.

 

Collins Wingard

Services for Collins Wingard, 70, of

Troy who died May 17, 2002, at Edge Regional Medical Center will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ernest Green officiating.

Burial will be in Old Mount Zion Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at the funeral home.

Mr. Harrison was born December 15, 1931 in Alabama.
