Quinta Darnell Maddox who died at Edge Regional Medical Center will be at 4 p.m. Sunday May l9, 2002 at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery in Brundidge with Rev. Steve Rascoe officiating.

Burial will be in the churchyard under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Sunday May 19, 2002 at the funeral home.

Survivors include a father, Deon Maddox; mother, Crystal Ann Kidd; grandparents, James and Ruby Recklaw, Tommy and Barbara Kidd and Jerry and Dean Wilcox; uncle, Tommy Ray Kidd, Jr. and several other close relatives.

Frances Lucylle McRae

Frances Lucylle McRae, 87, of Long Beach, Calif., died at her home Wednesday, May 8, 2002.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, May 20, 2002, at Pea River Cemetery in Clio with the Rev. James E. Pitts officiating and Byrd Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. McRae was born Jan. 13, 1915, to Robert Cunningham Shaw and Anne Elizabeth Helms Show of Clio. She resided her early life in Clio and attended nursing school in Birmingham She was a registered nurse and was employed by the Norwalk-La Mirada School District in California for several years until her retirement. She was the widow of John E. McRae who alos was a native of Clio.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Anne McRae of Big Bear Lake, Calif.; a granddaughter, Heather Smart; one brother and one sister-in-law, Robert and Katherine Shaw of Montgomery; one sister, Edna Funk Green of Valley, Ariz.
