Mrs. Fannie Bussey of Tampa, Fla., Died Wednesday, May1, 2002.
Services were
Thursday, May 9, 2002, at 1 p.m. at New Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Linwood with the Rev. James Felton officiating.
Burial followed in
Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with George F. Grubbs Funeral Home directing.
He was born
July 12, 1932 in Pike County to Louis and Sadie Parker. He was educated in
Pike county Schools and was a nurse’s assistant. His hobbies included sewing and cooking.

one daughter, Ann Harvey, Tampa; five grandchildren , seven great grandchildren; one sister,

Elizabeth Goens
Services for Elizabeth Goens, 80, of Elamville who died May 6, 2002, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2002, at St. Louis Baptist Church in Elamville with Rev. Charles Shipman officiating. Burial will be in the churchyard under the direction of Bell’s Liptrot/Dawson Funeral Home.
Johnnie Lee Thompson
Services for Johnnie Lee Thompson, 70, of Troy who died May 7, 2002, at Pike Manor Health Care Center will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2002, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Troy with Rev. L.C. McMillian officiating.
Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery
under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Troy.
Visitation will be Friday May 10, 2002, at the funeral home.
Mr. Thompson was born on May 16, 1931 in Troy. His parents were Jimmy Lee Thompson and Willie Mae Greenwood Thompson. He completed the 12th. Grade and entered the U.S. Army. He was a home health care provider and attended Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Coley Mac Thomas of Enterprise; three sisters, Ora M. Larkin of Chicago, Illinois, Eva Lou Farris of Logensport, Indiana, and Arrener Griffin of Troy; nephew and his wife, Chester and Ruby Larkin of Chicago, Illinois; three nieces and their husbands, Catherine and Theodore Simpson, Naomi and Joe Frazier of Middletown, Ohio and Vanilphia Larkin of Chicago, Illinios.
