Pike Liberal Arts wraps up home season

From Special Reports – Pike Liberal Arts School recently wrapped up its home season with a 12-1 win over Northside Methodist in six innings.
The Lady Patriots’ softball team also took an 11-5 victory.
Seniors honored on the day from the baseball team were Druid Conrad, Bill Hughes, Scott Kirby, Sam Osborne and Layton Sanders. On the softball team, Lindy Lunkenheimer and Beth Anderson were honored.
Luke Sanders and Kirby led the Patriots at the plate in their win over Northside Methodist with triples. Wes Johnson and Hughes added doubles.
Brandon Hooks earned the win for PLAS, walking two batters and striking out six in four innings of work.
The Patriots play at Ashford today.
