Jessie Mildred Wilkins
Services for Jessie Mildred Wilkins, 90, of Troy who died April 22, 2002, at Edge Regional Medical Center will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2002, at Southside Baptist Church in Troy with Rev. Wayne Locklar officiating.
She will lie-in-state from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service.
Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wilkins was born Jan. 26, 1912, in Coffee County. Her parents were Fred Grooms and Mary Alice Brooks.
She was a member of Southside Baptist Church since 1959.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Von Wilkins.
The family requests memorials be made to Southside Baptist Church Building Fund.
Survivors include: two sons and their wives, Roger and Peggy Wilkins of Troy and James Randall and Sherry Wilkins of Pine Level; daughter, Reba Jones of Troy; five grandchildren and their husbands or wives, Greg and Kathy Wilkins, Ginger and James Stork, Jay Wilkins, Michell and Chuck Grainger and Leigh and Trey Ingram, five great-grandchildren, Hannah, Carter and Dalton Grainger, Chase and Blake Ingram and a sister-in-law, Ineze Lambert of Elba.
Pallbearers are Greg Wilkins, Jay Wilkins, James Stork, Chuck Grainger and Trey Ingram.
