Frances Smith Carroll

Frances Smith Carroll, 82, of Troy, died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at Magnolia Wood Lodge.

Services will be held Friday, March 22, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Otis Derrah officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 21, 2002, from 6-8 p.m.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Nelson Whitehurst of Elba; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Joel Amos of Troy; a son and daughter-in-law, W. Wilson and Sandra Carroll of Troy; six grandchildren, Lynn Corder of Elba, Steve Whitehurst of Brantley, Chris Amos of Enterprise, Allison Kelly of Atlanta, Ga., Brent Carroll of Troy and Stephanie Carroll of Troy; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruby Berry of Abbeville and Emily Owen of Jacksonville, Fla.
