All proceeds form the auction will help the Women’s Life Center continue its mission

for supporting women facing pregnancy," said Anne Gates, volunteer counselor. "We’re here to save babies and let women know that God has a plan for them."

The Women’s Life Center is a nonprofit organization affiliated with Sav-A-Life, Inc. which was founded in March 1986.

"The Women’s Life Center is a nondenominational Christian ministry committed to meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the woman and family members facing the crisis pregnancy and to finding positive alternatives to abortion," said Sally Ingalls, board chairperson. "The Women’s Life Center offers free confidential pregnancy testing, counseling, access to assistance programs and clothing."

Most of the people involved with the Women’s Life Center are committed volunteers and trained volunteers do most of the counseling.

Ingalls said the center sees an average of five to 10 women a week, bringing the total number assisted to

between 250 and 500 women a year.

Tickets for the auction are $10 and the cost of the meal is included in the ticket price. For more information or for tickets, call the Women’s Life Center at
