Services for Robert F. Shipman, 86, of Brundidge, who died Wed., Feb. 6, 2002 at Extendicare Health Center in Dothan will be at 10 a.m. Sat., Feb. 9, 2002 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Brundidge with the Rev. Mark Stephens officiating.

Burial will

be at Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy under the direction of

Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge.

Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8p.m.

Friday, Feb. 8, 2002 at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Mr. Shipman

was born in Montgomery on April 18, 1915, but spent his early years in Louisville, Ala. before moving to Brundidge in 1950. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Mr. Shipman was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Williams Shipman; son, Robert Earl Shipman; parents, Robert and Virginia Shipman; brother, Ray M. Shipman; sisters, Edna Jacobs and Virginia Warr.

Survivors are a son and his wife, John and Sandy Shipman of Dothan;

grandchildren, Scott Shipman, Robin Rippetoe, and Jason Shipman; 5 great -grandchildren; sister, Lanora Curtis of Troy; and a special friend, Gladys Dansby of Brundidge.

The family

requests memorials be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Pallbearers are Donald Rippetoe, Courtney Shipman, Jason Shipman, Robert Shipman, Scott Shipman and Rockford Waters

Honorary Pallbearers are Deacons of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
