Gwendolyn Richburg Ray

Gwendolyn Richburg Ray, 84, of 109 Blackmon Street in Troy died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002 at Edge Regional Medical Center in Troy.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ray will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with the Rev. Ken May officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include her husband, H. Luther Ray of Troy; son and daughter-in-law, Harry and Annette Ray of Shelby; granddaughter and husband, Michelle and Allen Smith of St. Louis, Mo.; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Pam Ray; granddaughter and husband, Melissa and Marc Williams; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Parker Williams, all of Naples, Fla.; sister and husband, Addileen and Wilson Newman of Elba; sister, Virginia Reddoch of Pace, Fla.

Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy.
