Susan D. Bell

Susan D. Bell, 91, of Drayton Avenue in Elba, died Tuesday at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Jan., 2, 2002 at Evergreen Cemetery in Elba with the Rev. Alfred Ikner officiating and Hayes Funeral Home of Elba directing. Visitation was from noon until 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Survivors include her husband, Curbie J. Bell of Troy; daughter-in-law, Anne Bullard of Elba; son-in-law, Bill Bullard of Elba; son, Gene Bell of Troy; daughter-in-law, Pauline Bell of Troy; sister, Lillian Green of Troy; brother, Hawood Daughtry of Troy; granddaughter, Lisa Boutwell of Elba; great-grandson, Lee Boutwell of Elba.

Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by a grandson, Andy Bullard of Elba.

 

Faye Teate

Faye Teate, 48, formerly of Red Level, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001 at a son’s residence in Troy.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 3 at Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery in Conecuh County with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, Christopher L. and Heather Teate of Troy, Jason L. Teate of Troy and Justin L. Teate of Powell, Tenn.; brothers, Gerald Beasley of Cartersville, Ga. and Robert Hooks of Evergreen; sisters, Sarah Beasley Armstong and Gail Godwin, both of Evergreen; one granddaughter, Sierra N. Teate of Troy.
