All three suspects in a Wednesday afternoon burglary are in custody.

Two teenagers and a 25-year-old man are charged with burglary, first degree and each is behind bars on $100,000 bond.

Around 2 p.m. Wednesday, officers from the Troy Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Elm Street in regards to a burglary in progress.

According to Troy Police Chief Anthony Everage, the victim called the police department about someone breaking into his home. The three armed individuals were still in the residence while the victim was on the phone. After realizing they had been discovered, the suspects fled across Elm Street on foot after breaking and exiting a window.

Minutes after officers arrived on the scene, Kevin Antonio Cummings, 16, of Troy was taken into custody and charged with a Class A felony, meaning the teen is treated as an adult in connection with the crime.

The other two suspects were arrested Friday afternoon. They are identified as Defrederick Cummings, 16, and Johnathan Scott, 25, both of Troy.
