Gussie Lee Chandler Mallett

Gussie Lee Chandler Mallett, 88, of Troy died Monday, Dec. 24, 2001, in Troy.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with the Rev. Mallone Chandler officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Troy with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include six sisters, Bessie Armistead, Eva Mae Stone, Nettie Bullard, all of Troy, Alma Cleveland and Eunice (Jimmy) Russell of Montgomery and Margaret Hubbard of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother, Eugene (Margaret) Chandler of Jack; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Okley Herndon and Charlie Mallett.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Moriah Cemetery Fund.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Karen Bullard, Alex Hanson, Jimmy Phillips and Jimmy Russell.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
