Henry Harold Armstrong

Henry Harold Armstrong, 87, of Troy died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001 at Baptist Medical Center in Montgomery.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001 at the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Dr. Ed Walter and the Rev. Ken McLeod officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Mr. Armstrong was born Sept. 22, 1914. He was a veteran of World War II serving with Occupational Troop Forces in Japan and receiving his honorable discharge in 1945. He retired from Proctor & Gamble following a 35-year career. He received the "Outstanding salesman of the Year Award" numerous times and an appointment to the "Big Six Club" for outstanding salesmanship. He was a member of the Baraca Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church of Troy.
Survivors include his wife, Nell Carter Armstrong of Troy, two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia A. and Kleob Loflin of Montgomery, Dorothy A. and Ron F. Donaldson of Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren, Rachel Loflin of Montgomery, Rebecca Loflin of Montgomery, Nicholas (Kerry) Loflin of Troy, Jason (Kimberly) Donaldson of Cincinnati and Alex Donaldson of Cincinnati.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Alex Donaldson, Jason Donaldson, Nick Loflin, Ron Donaldson, Kleob Loflin and Carter Sanders.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Baraca Sunday School Class of the First Baptist Church of Troy.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Troy.
Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001 at Dillard Funeral Home.

Sara Lee Poole, 82, of Troy died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001 at Edge Regional Medical Center.
Arrangements will be announced later by Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.
