DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Tracy Tidwell’s two round score of 12 over par led the Troy State women’s golf team to its first team title of the season, claiming the Coca-Cola Intercollegiate on the par 72, LPGA International Golf Course, fighting through wind gusts of up to 30 knots.

Tidwell opened the tournament with a round of 79, firing a 77 in the final round to claim the individual title. She finished two shots ahead of Jessica Polus of Florida Atlantic.

"I am very proud of how the girls played this weekend," said Troy State head coach Barney Burnett. "They played really well in some very tough conditions. The wind was very tough and our girls were able to adapt their games to the wind and played very well."
