Lloyd A. Green, 90, of the Josie Community was called home by his heavenly Father, Monday, Sept. 10, 2001.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Zebulan Baptist Church with the Revs. Earl Oakes and Carey Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Sandfield Cemetery with Gray Funeral Home of Union Springs directing.

Mr. Green was preceded in death by three infant children; a granddaughter, Fay Garrett; a great-granddaughter, Haley Garrett.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Green of the Josie Community; two daughters and sons-in-law, Katie and Ken Boutwell of Hampton, Va. and Mary and Tommy Adams of Troy; one son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Bonnie Green of the Tanyard Community; eight grandchildren, Kay Powell, Pam Diaz, April Sneed, Kay Garrett, Lucy Oakes, Tony Adams, Toby Adams and Marsha Lewis; 19 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Comer Lee Phelps, Phil Oakes, Tim Sneed, Toby Adams, Tony Adams, Anthony Adams, Jason Lewis and Terry Sneed. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Frank Townsend, Dan Richardson, Ray Arrington, Gene Harrison, Joe Harrison, S.E. Green, Jack Brooks and Charlie C. Wilkerson.

William Jackson "Jack" McCaa

William Jackson "Jack" McCaa, 66, of Montgomery died after a gallant struggle with cancer.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 13 at Leak-Memory Chapel in Montgomery with the Rev. Charles Wise officiating.

Mr. McCaa was born in Troy on Oct. 20, 1934 to the late Alec and Gertrude McCaa. He was a graduate of Auburn University and retired from a lengthy career with Franklin Life Insurance Company. He was a member of Frazer United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Wood McCaa.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Rob and Karen McCaa and Ric McCaa; grandsons, Jake, Josh and Zac McCaa and his fiancé, Sharon Skelton, all of Montgomery; several cousins and other relatives.

The family will receive flowers or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Williford, Bob Shanks, Pete Moseley, Jack Honeycutt, Dean Shepherd and Jack Powell. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Bazzell, George Farner, Hugh Gordon, Gene Hunt and Ronnie Broome.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Leak-Memory Chapel.
