Christopher Morgan Brooks, infant, of Troy died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001 at Baptist Medical Center.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 24 at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Brundidge with the Revs. Tommy Cronier and Phil Stephens officiating, Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Survivors include parents, Chris and Betsy Brooks of Troy; brother, Cody Brooks of Troy; grandparents, George and Sheri Brooks of Troy, Anthony and Charlotte Hughes of Ozark; aunts, LeAnn Brooks of Troy and Jill Ezell of Ariton.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge.

Davis F. McVay

Davis F. McVay, 89, of Troy died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001 at Pike Manor Health Care Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 24 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with the Rev. Gerald Maddox officiating. Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Park, Highway 29 in Troy with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include his wife, Elese C. McVay of Troy; two sons, Mahlon F. McVay of Troy and Michael C. (Corinne) McVay of Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Lauren McVay of Houston; sister, Margaret Barron of Troy; four nieces, Mary Sidney Masterson of Arndale, Va., Manoise Chambers of Irving, Texas, Patsy Russell of Wetumpka and Helen Trawick of Birmingham; nephew, Max Barron of Troy.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Norris, Frank McLure and George McVay.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m., Friday at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
