Ed Austin, 70, of Banks died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2001 in New Orleans, La.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 15 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Brundidge with the Rev. Kenneth Andrews officiating. Burial will be at Ebenezer Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Survivors include his wife, Doris H. Austin of Banks; daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Jason Turner of Banks; sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne and Wiley Layvon Armstrong of Abbeville; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Mary Frances Tate of Banks; grandson, Michael Blake James; step daughter, Joyce (Jimmy) Crook of Braggs; step son, Bruce (Linda) Palmer of Ft. Deposit; step grandchildren, Jim (Christine) Crook, Julie (George) Till and four step great-grandchildren.
