Frances C. Kelley Rodgers

Frances C. Kelley Rodgers, 82, of Montgomery died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001 at Baptist Hospital following an extended illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 14 at Leak Memory Chapel with the Rev. Tom Shepard officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Elam Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Goshen with Leak Memory Chapel directing.
A native of Goshen, Mrs. Rodgers lived in Montgomery for 60 years. She was a retired vice president of Southern Guaranty Insurance Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie B. Kelley; son, Edward C. Kelley and son-in-law, Daniel Clay Wilson.
Survivors include her husband, Col. Thomas A. Rodgers; daughters, Sue Kelley McGough (Elton) of Elkton, Ky. and Nancy Kelley Wilson of Birmingham; mother, Tabbie Carter of Goshen; brother, Roy H. Carter (Irene) of Goshen; sister, Josephine Carter Gibbs (John) of Ranburne; grandchildren, Kelley McGough Kaufman (Jerrod) of Auburn, Wash., Marianne and Adam McGough of Elkton, Ellen and Clay Wilson of Birmingham; one great-grandchild, William Kaufman.
Pallbearers will be Louis Bryant, Richard Bryant, J.C. Bryant, Adam McGough, Clay Wilson and Al McGough.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Whitfield United Methodist Church or to a favorite charity.
Edwin Fred English
Edwin Fred English, 80, of Brundidge died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001 at Edge Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held in Tampa, Fla. at a later date with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.
Survivors include daughter, Bonnie Wallace of Brundidge; son, Mike English of Tampa; sister, Frances English of Georgia; brother, Charles F. English Jr. of Florida; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
