Angels must win two to advance to District

ANDALUSIA – The Troy Dixie Angels defeated Andalusia 12-0 on Saturday night to move to 2-0 in the Sub-District tournament.
Oddly enough, Troy was to play Elba on Monday night in order to move into the championship game against Andalusia tonight. Andalusia and Elba each have one loss in the tournament, which came at the hands of Troy. Andalusia handed Opp a 15-2 loss on Friday night and defeated Greenville prior to Saturday’s loss against Troy. The Troy Angels’ team beat Elba 11-0, also on Friday.
The winner of the Angels’ Sub-District Tournament heads to Dothan for districts, which begin this Friday, July 5.
