Qua Lawson’s two RBI single provided the offensive punch for Troy in the top of the fourth. Morgan Brown had reached on an error and Cory Taylor on a walk, when Lawson took a two-out pitch into right field to score the go-ahead runs. Prior to the hit, Lawson had fouled off five pitches.

Lawson would come home as well during the inning, on a hard hit ground ball by Stecolian Brown.

Enterprise left 11 base runners stranded in the game and totalled only three hits against the pitching combination of Blake Thomas, Logan Stewart and Lawson. Stewart and Thomas combined to pick up the win, with Lawson coming in to earn the save in the fifth and sixth innings of play.

The Enterprise National team took a 1-0 lead, scoring on a wild pitch in the bottom of the third. Enterprise had a chance to win the game in their last at-bat in the sixth, loading the bases with two outs, but Lawson struck out the final batter.
