Sara Nell Carlisle Crawford, 68, of Baton Rouge, La. and a native of Pike County, died Monday, June 18, 2001 at her home.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, June 22 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, June 22 at Magnolia Cemetery in Andalusia with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include her husband, Richard H. Crawford of Baton Rouge; son and daughter-in-law, Richard H. and Dianna M. Crawford Jr. of Austin, Texas; daughter, Tammy A. Crawford of Baton Rouge; son, David M. Crawford of Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, Jack B. Carlisle of Troy and Robert G. Carlisle of Birmingham; six grandchildren, Richard Benjamin Crawford, Amelia Libby Crawford, Carlisle Frances Crawford, all of Austin, Jeffrey Donovan Parker Jr., Shannon Michael Parker and Caitlyn Amanda Parker, all of Baton Rouge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Mary King Carlisle; two brothers, James Rex and Max King Carlisle and a daughter, Melanie Crawford.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Louie Bell Hughes

Louie Bell Hughes, 97, of Goshen died Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at her home.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, June 22 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Goshen with the Rev. W.O. Sanders officiating, Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Julia and M.J. Davis of Luverne, Leven and Mary Hughes of Goshen, Cora and Robert Frye of Gulf Shores, Rebecca Wilkes of Troy, Charles and Barbara Hughes of Goshen, Jim and Anise Hughes of Goshen; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Carroll Hughes, Johnny Hughes, Kenny Hughes, Lewis Hughes, Randy Hughes and Steve Wilkes.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Kim Lunsford

Kim Lunsford, 39, of Troy died Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 22 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with the Rev. Steve Rascoe officiating, Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include her parents, Foy and Jean Lunsford of Troy; two sisters, Kathy Lunsford of Troy and Jessica Lunsford of Dallas, Texas; nephew, Joshua Foy Grissett of Fort Riley, Kan.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Chi Omega Sorority and Delta Chi Fraternity for the years 1979 through 1983, Dr. Allen Jones, Dr. Allen Dunn, Dr. Bruce Woodham, Dr. Charles Connor and Gerald Buntyn.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
