Foye Eugenia Lamb, 92, of Montgomery died Tuesday, May 29, 2001 at Baptist Medical Center.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., June 2 at Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy with the Rev. Winston Brooks officiating, Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include sisters, Mary Lamb of Montgomery and Mrs. Willie Lamb Farrow of Eclectic; brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Robert H. and Mary Lamb of Salt Lake City, Utah; several nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert E. Culver, Charles Rowe, Patrick Rowe and Robert Rowe.

Visitation will be 10-10:45 a.m., Saturday, June 2 at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Family and friends will gather at the home of Robin Rowe, 707 Mansion Street in Wetumpka, following the service for a potluck lunch.

Pattie Toney

Pattie Toney, 96, of Columbus, Ohio died Friday, May 25, 2001 at Grant Hospital in Columbus.

Services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 2 at Benevolent Grove Baptist Church in the Needmore Community with the Rev. B.T. Toney officiating. Burial will be at China Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Toney was born Feb. 2, 1905 in Pike County to Jimmy and Hatie Owens. She was a member of Friendship A.M.E. Church.

Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Willie Ree Blair, Lessie D. James, both of Birmingham, and Willie Mae and Alma Tolbert of Columbus; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy D. and Willie Mae Toney of Ramer, Robert and Barbara Toney of Toledo, Ohio; four grandchildren and their spouses, Minney Baker of Troy, Jessie Tolbert of Birmingham, Isopene and Harold Andrews of Hamilton, Ohio, John and Cheryl Toney of Columbus; great-granddaughter and her husband, Dorothy and Benny Thomas of Columbus; two sisters, Isabella Allen of Baltimore, Md. and Susie Spikner of Birmingham; 36 grandchildren and a host of great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and others who knew her as "Mama Pattie."

She was preceded in death by her husband, four children, two brothers and six sisters.

Visitation will be 1-6 p.m. today at Harrison Funeral Home. She will lie in state from noon until 1 p.m. prior to the service.

Charles William Mehaffey

Charles William Mehaffey, 70, of Troy died Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at Enterprise Medical Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 2 at Spring Hill Emanuel Holiness Church with the Revs. Lesley Allen and Ara Allen officiating. Burial will be at Center Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Esther Ruth Mehaffey of Troy; three daughters and sons-in-law, Charlene and Joseph Liles, Shirley and Jeffery Tillery, all of Troy, and Peggy and Hank Williams of Brundidge; son, Wilburn Kirkland of Troy; six grandchildren, Timothy and Gabriel Liles, John and Elaine Williams, Ashley and Rebecca Keal; four brothers, Alton Mehaffey, A.C. Mehaffey, James Mehaffey, all of Troy, and A.D. Mehaffey of Cross City, Fla.; two sisters, Bulah Bundy and Mary Roten, both of Troy; one aunt, Audry Roten of Troy.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Cassidy Liles.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Mr. Mehaffey will lie in state at his residence on Highway 87 until the time of his funeral.
