Regarding his new quarterback, Underwood said, "I am excited about Kevin joining our program, and feel he will have an immediate impact."

Barrette was a two-year starter at Belleglade and was named to the AllCounty and honorable mention All-State squads. He helped lead BHS to a 44-1 record over the last four years. Belleglade has won the last three Class 3A state championships.

"We feel very fortunate to have signed Tyrone. He comes from one of the best high school programs in the state of Florida, as evidenced by the fact they have won three straight state titles and have lost only one game in four years. Tyrone is obviously a winner and will help us immediately on the offensive line," Underwood said.
