Cardinals 6

Trey Thomas led the A’s with a triple and a homerun to help his team beat the Cardinals, 18-6.

Cory Taylor had an inside the park homer and Logan Stewart was winning pitcher for the A’s. Stewart had 10 strike outs.

Quay Lawson and Alex Golden also had hits for the the A’s.

Clay Massy and Ethan Register led Cardinals at the plate.

 

Mariners 7

Diamondbacks 2

Clifton Brady got the win for the Mariners, who improved to 6-0 on the season. Brady faced 24 batters, striking out 14 and giving up just five hits.

Tucker Rainey layed down a squeez bunt to punt Mariners ahead in the third inning 2-1. Brady and Douglas Hawkins combined for two inside-the-park homeruns, with Brady also adding a triple. Hawkins’ hit scored three runs. Dontae Harris went 1-for-1 at the plate for the Mariners.

The Diamondbacks were led at the plate by William Teal’s 2-for-2 effort. David Fleming, Alex Adams and Michael Rader all had hits for the ‘Backs as well.

Braves 9

Athletics 6

Chase Connell opened the game pitching for the Braves and Matthew Ellis closed it, as the Braves beat the A’s, 9-6.

Connell struck out five and Ellis retired two batters in releif.

Jared Rogers and Anthony McBride both had two hits each for the Braves and Ellis was 1-for-3.

Dario Rouse was 2-for-2 for the A’s.
