Montine Gibson, 90, of Spring Hill died Sunday, April 22, 2001 at Edge Regional Medical Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 24 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with the Rev. Steve Rascoe officiating. Burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Ms. Gibson, formerly of Enterprise, was a member of the Springhill United Methodist Church and the Colley Senior Complex.
Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Law of Troy and Jimmie Lois Johnson of Rutledge, many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Bill Boutwell, Joe Boutwell, Joe Johnson, Johnny Law, Chris Mather and Joe Bagents. Honorary pallbearers will be: Wayne Abercrombie, W.K. Thompson, Terry Archie, members of Springhill United Methodist Church and friends from the Colley Senior Complex.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Spring Hill Cemetery Fund.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
Haskell N. "Doc" Locklar
Haskell N. "Doc" Locklar, DC, 77, of Delray Beach, Fla. died Saturday, April 21, 2001.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 26 at Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy with the Rev. Otis Derrah officiating, Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Dr. Locklar was a pioneer chiropractor for 33 years in Delray Beach. He served in the United States Navy during World War II on a mine sweeper. He was a member of the Delray Beach Lions Club and the Civitan Club.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Peggy Turk Locklar; sons and daughters-in-law, J. Scott, DC, and Sue Locklar of Boynton Beach, Fla., Jeffrey A. and Janet Locklar of California; daughter and son-in-law, Marianne and Dale Hammack of Wellington, Fla.; grandchildren, Scott and Brian Locklar, Sarah and Katie Hammack and Jason Locklar; great-grandchildren, Kylie and Cameron Locklar.
Willie Frank Felton
Willie Frank Felton, 50, of Troy died at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2001 at Macedonia Baptist Church of Linwood with the Rev. L.G. Bland officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Felton was born Nov. 28, 1950 in Pike County to the late Frank H. and Lillie Ruth Felton. He attended Pike County High School and served in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include three brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe Walter and Christal Felton of Detroit, Mich., Melvin and Rita Felton of Troy; Robert L. and Trudy Felton of Birmingham; one sister and brother-in-law, Shelia and Clarence Scott of Troy; grandmother, Addie Ruth Walton of Troy; five nieces, Felicia Felton of Jacksonville, Fla., Kristen Felton of Detroit, Dorie, Cassundra and Kimberly Felton, all of Birmingham; two nephews, Melvin Felton Jr. of Huntsville and Joe Walter Felton Jr. of Detroit; seven aunts, two uncles, one great aunt and one great uncle; special friends, Annette Lowe and Willie Pryor; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.

Sampson Fleming of Brundidge died Friday, April 20, 2001.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 28 at County Line Church with the Rev. Carl Hollis officiating. Burial will be at Lake View Cemetery with Bell’s Liptrot/Dawson Funeral Home directing.
