Services for Onnie Earl Jacobs, 80, of Glenwood, who died at his home,
Sat., Feb., 9, 2002, will be at 10:00 a. m.
Tues., Feb. 12 at the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy
with Rev Jeff Mayo officiating.
Burial will be in Henderson Memorial Cemetery
in Henderson under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.
Visitation was from 6:00 p. m. to 8 p. m. Mon., Feb 11, 2002 at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
Mr. Jacobs was preceded in death by his parentsWes and Navie Jacobs; daughter, Wanda Harrelson; and a brother, Collice Jacobs.
Survivors are his wife, Lena Louise Jacobs of Glenwood; two sons and their wives, Donnie and Carolyn
Jacobs and Danny and Mary Jacobs of Glenwwod; a daughter, Carolyn Davis of Fla.; 14 grandchildren and several great -grandchildren; a brother and his wife, Coley and Merle Jacobs of Phenix City; and a
sister and her husband, Colene and Lamar Grant of Glenwood
The family requests memorials be made to the Henderson Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be
grandsons.
Robert Earl (Rap) Bean
Services for Robert Earl Bean, 48, of Troy, who died at his home, will be Wed., Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Baptist Church in Troy with the Rev. Earnest Green officiating.
Burial will be in the Old Mt. Zion Cemetery in the Henderson Community.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Feb.12 at Harrison Funeral Home. He will lie in state at St. Peter Baptist Church from 10 a. m. until 11 a. m. prior to the service.
Mr. Bean was born April 15, 1955 in Pike County, the son of John Lee and Maureen Bean. He was in the US Army and a member of St. Peter Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Lois Bean; five sons, Euphrates Bean,
Timothy Bean, Rhett Bean Cedric Bean and John Bean; mother, Maurine L. Bean; three brothers and their wives, Sammy and Rozelia Bean, John and Vanessa Bean
and Brunson McCoy; five sisters and their husbands, Myrtle and Barney Thomas, Lillie and Joe Owens, Priscilla anad Shellie Collins, Vivian Ann Bean, and
Willie and Kenny Mae Cole; grandson, Episilom Shyied Bean; god-grandson, Tavaras Adam; aunt, Christina Lampley; uncle, A.C. Bean; cousin, John "Jakey" Bean.
