Jimmy D. Toney, 64, of Philadelphia, Pa., formerly of Troy, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001 in Philadelphia.

Services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001 at Benevalent Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. L.P. Carter and Willie James Felton officiating. Burial will be at Benevalent Grove Cemetery with George F. Grubbs Funeral Home directing.

Nephews and friends of the family will serve as pallbearers. Friends of the family will serve as floralbearers.

Mr. Toney was born Nov. 10, 1936 in Pike County to Eddie Lee and Lois Christian Toney. He attended Pike County public schools. During his life, he was a welder and attended the local churches in Philadelphia.

Survivors include his daughter, Teresa Wise of Philadephia; father, Eddie Lee Toney of Luverne Nursing Home; two sisters, Effie Owens of Laurelton, N.Y. and Johnnie Will McKenzie of Charlotte, N.C.; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; seven aunts; one uncle; sister-in-law, Mary Lee Tony of Troy; other relatives and friends.

Randy Wilson, 33, of Troy died Jan. 31, 2001 at Edge Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Room.

Services will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001 at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Shy officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing.

Brothers-in-law and nephews will serve as pallbearers. Uncles will serves as honorary pallbearers. Cousins and friends will serve as floralbearers.

Mr. Wilson was born Oct. 20, 1967 in Troy to Robert and Lillian Wilson.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Lillian Wilson; one brother, Arthur L. Wilson; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Cheryl and William Shanklin, Joanne and Dale Almond, Olivia and Tony McClain; nieces, Symphony and Kristen McClain; nephews: Jarodd Wilson, Jacobi Shanklin and Del-yuri Almond.
