Nathan Richard Dyer, 84, of Troy died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001 at Pike Manor Health Care Center.

Services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 29, 2001 at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Tifton, Ga. Burial was at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Tifton with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. A memorial service will be held in Troy at a later date.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Conner Dyer.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Pam Dyer of Alabaster; daughter and son-in-law, harriett and Robert Pullen of Troy; four grandsons: Nathan and Joseph Pullen of Troy, Charlie and Richard Dyer of Alabaster.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Troy.

Mrs. Loney Rhodes

Mrs. Loney Rhodes, 87, of Troy died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001 at Pike Manor Health Care Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Brundidge with the Revs. Edward Smith, Ronnie Chaney and Joe Strickland officiating. Burial will be at Ramah Cemetery, Highway 29, in the Josie Community with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Rhodes, Jamie Vance, Kenny Rhodes, Marty Rhodes, Michael Rhodes, Curtis Singleton and Steven Stamey.

She was preceded in death by grandchild, Bennie Ray Rhodes and son-in-law, Johnnie Stamey.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Anita Stamey of Troy and Carolyn and Floyd Singleton of Union Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Mary Alice Rhodes of Troy, M.C. and Lorna Rhodes of Troy; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
