George Randolph McVay, 74, of Lapine died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001 at his home.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001 at Hinson Cemetery with the Rev. George King officiating, Dillard Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers were: James Baldwin, Michael McVay, Brian McVay, Johnny McVay, Johnny Majors and Will Minter.

Survivors include his wife, Natalie McVay of Lapine; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Robert Buonaiuto of Connecticut; three sons and daughters-in-law, Joel Randolph and Bobbie McVay of Montgomery, John Anthony and Karen McVay of Oklahoma, Thomas R. and Lisa Minter of Montgomery; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
