Sallie Louise Tetter, 69, of Grady died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001 at Jackson Hospital.

Services will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001 at Community Baptist Church with the Revs. Chuck Ford, David Floyd and Dr. Malone Chandler officiating. Burial will be at Community Baptist Church Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Pallbearers will be Shorty Gibson, Ronnie Little, John Posey, Ben Smith, Johnny Smith and Jimmy Tanner.

She was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Tetter and two brothers, Robert and David Tetter.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law: Margaret Tetter of Grady, Mary and Mike Eaton of Eufaula, Jennifer and James Jordan of Grady; sister, Joy Tetter of Grady; two brothers and sister-in-law, Leland Griffin of Grady, Luther and Ann Tetter of Grady; five grandchildren: Donna Haywood and her husband, David, Melissa Brooks, Heath Ezelle, Jessica and Jamie Godfrey; two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Joshua Haywood; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6-10 p.m., today at Community Baptist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Baptist Church.

George Randolph McVay

George Randolph McVay, 74, of Lapine died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001 at her home.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001 at Hinson Cemetery with the Rev. George King officiating, Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Pallbearers will be James Baldwin, Michael McVay, Brian McVay, Johnny McVay, Johnny Majors and Will Minter.

Survivors include his wife, Natalie Minter of Lapine; one daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Robert Buonaiuto of Connecticut; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Joel Randolph and Bobbie McVay of Montgomery, John Anthony McVay of Oklahoma, Thomas R. and Lisa Minter of Montgomery; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Hospice.
