Inice Sikes Whittington, 64, of Jack died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000 at Elba General Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000 at Jack Assembly of God with the Revs. Walter Faulk, Bobby Powell, Jimmy Eddins and Ray Stinson officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Alcuri, Shannon Sikes, Brian Arrington, Donnie Whittington, Michael Campbell, Bobby Earles, Ray Edward Giles and Michael Sikes. Honorany pallbearers will be Aron Carswell, Rickey Whittington and Thomas Ray Whitehead.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Wayne Whittington and a son, Elvin Rudean Whittington.
Survivors include children and thier spouses: Dorothy and Mike Arrington of Banks, Wana and Tony Carswell of Jack, Brenda and Ray Sanders of Jack, Patricia and Bobby Price of Elba, Larry and Peggy Whittington of Jack and Melinda Jones of Jack; sisters, Mertice Earles of Stills Cross Roads and Faye Russell of Georgetown, Ga.; brothers, Dalton Sikes of Marion, Ind. and Ray and Tommy Sikes, both of Ramer; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
O’Neal "Bogum" Senn
O’Neal "Bogum" Senn, 89, of Brundidge died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000 at Hamilton Crossroads Church of Christ with Minister Doug Williams officating. Burial will be at the church cemetery in Brundidge with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.
Survivors include three children: Zella Jones of Panama City, Fla., Malisa Powell of Fayetteville, Tenn. and Tony Powell of Brundidge; sister, Gertrude Allen of Brundidge; several nieces, nephews and other close relatives.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19 at Hamilton Crossroads Church of Christ.
Annie Doris Debose
Annie Doris Debose, 54, of Troy died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000 at Baptist Medical Center in Montgomery.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Banks with Dr. L.C. McMillian officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing.
Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers and floralbearers.
She was born Aug. 7, 1946 in Troy to Forest and Annie Carol Debose. She attended Academy High School and was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Banks.
Survivors include friend and father of her children for 38 years, C.W. Nelson of Pine Level; four sons and daughters-in-law: Earl J. and Nadine of Troy, Clarence and Annie of Shady Grove, Dewayne Debose of Troy and William and Mary Ann of Pine Level; two daughters, Lashon and Glen Zimmerman and Sherina Hodges of Troy; four grandsons: Evan Debose, Kevin Debose, Dorian Debose and Tyjik; four granddaughters: Tara Snead, Karnetrice Y. Williams. Ayanna and Jasmin Shanté debose; one great-grandson, Mitchell Snead.
Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19 at the funeral home and will lie-in-state one hour prior to the service.
