Christine Baxter, 82, of Troy died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000 at Edge Regional Medical Center.

Services were held at 1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000 at Leak-Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Montgomery with the Rev. James M. Castleberry officiating. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000 at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery. Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directed both services.

Nephews served as pallbearers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Baxter and a grandson, Kelly Baxter.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Judy Baxter of Troy; granddaughter and husband, Karen and Jeff Faulkner of Troy; two sisters, Marygrace Richardson and Anne Will Bodiford, both of Montgomery; four brothers, George Dekle of Troy, Lou Dekle of Cecil, Robert Dekle of Montgomery and D.B. Dekle of Bastrope, Texas; great-grandchildren, Christi and Cailey Faulkner of Troy.

Eva Barrow

Eva Barrow, 102, of Brundidge and formerly of Elba, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Nov. 1, 2000 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Herbert Reynolds officiating. Burial will be at the Brundidge Community Cemetery with Bell’s Liptrot/Dawson Funeral Home directing.

The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to the service.
