Bertha Jean Baines, 82, of Troy died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000 at Edge Regional Medical Center.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Brundidge with the Rev. Talmage Butler officiating, Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Gordan Baines; sister, Mattie Mae Gunter and brother, Jimmy Gohagan.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Greg Hayes of Florida; three sisters: Florence Davis of Sylacauga, Ruby Stewart of Brundidge and Rose Brown of Phenix City; two grandchildren, Shannon Ellis and Amanda Kelley; one great-grandchild, Kody Kelley.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wiregrass Hospice.
