Letha Watkins Revels, 94, of Troy died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000 at Pike Manor Health Care Center.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 6, 2000 at Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery in Troy with Dr. Don Hatcher officiating and Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include one brother, Cecil Watkins of Troy and two sisters, Erma Quin of Fairhope and Lois Medlock of Georgia.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

There will be no visitation.

Minnie Jewel Flournoy McGuire

Minnie Jewel Flournoy McGuire, 94, of Enterprise, and formerly of Brundidge, died Tuesday, October 3, 2000.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2000, at the County Line Baptist Church in Brundidge with the Revs. Joseph A. McGuire and Dennis Terry officiating. Burial will follow in the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery with Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her five daughters, Maxine Owens of Riverside, Calif., Armishers M. Boyd of Newton, Ocriea Berry of Durham, N.C., James Etta Wilson of Enterprise, and Wilma Snell of Alexandria, Va.; one son, James F. McGuire of Brundidge; two sisters, Lula B. Thornton of Chicago, Ill., and Annie N. Cook of Birmingham; one brother, Booker T. Flournoy of Brundidge; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives.

She was a member of the County Line Baptist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, and a resident of Enterprise since 1997.

Flowers will be accepted or donation may be made to the Wiregrass Hospice, P.O. Box 311103, Enterprise, AL 36331.

The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to the service.
