J.W. Law, 72, of Troy died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2000 at his home.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with the Rev. Steve Rascoe and Steve Brown. Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include his wife, Dot Law of Troy; son, Johnny Law of Troy; brother and sister-in-law, George and Hazel Ann Law of Troy; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Margaret and Ear Whitehurst of Montgomery, Nell and Nelson Daugthtry of Greenville and brenda and Jeff Hamm of Chattanooga, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Park Memorial United Methodist Church Organ Fund.

Pallbearers will be Freddie Daughtry, Hugh Finlay, Danny Hanson, Foy Lunsford, Bill Mathews and L.P. Pevehouse. Employees of Quality Millworks, nieces and nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Barbara Ann Allen

Barbara Ann Allen, a resident of Milwaukee, Wis. and formerly of Brundidge, died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2000.

Services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000 at Lily Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. John Ford officiating. Burial will be at the Lilly Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Bell’s Liptrot/Dawson Funeral Home directing.
