Michael Sanders is seeking a third term as Goshen’s mayor.
Having served the town since first being elected to the council in 1980, Sanders said the community has grown, but there is still work to be done.
"There are several projects in the works, now, that I would like to see carried through, including the construction of the new town hall," Sanders said.
"Also, I have some ideas to update the current water system that would make it more sufficient."
Some of the things Sanders considers big accomplishments are getting a $500,000 housing rehabilitation grant, resurfacing streets in the town limits, paying off the water tank and "maintaining the lowest water rates in the state."
Sanders, who is a farmer, has been married to his wife, Nancy, for 20 years. They have four daughters varying in age from 9 to 17.
