James Ellis, 74, of Brundidge, died Tuesday, August 8, 2000 at Dale Medical Center.

Services

will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000 at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge with the Revs. Shirlie Ellis and Calvin Faircloth. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Brundidge with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Survivors include his wife Mary Helen Ellis of Brundidge; a son and daughter-in-law, James Davis and Sharon Wllis of Jacksonville. Fla; a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Gene Fortune of Troy; five grandchildren; five sisters, Dorothy Bowden of Brundidge, Ruthel Ward of Panama City, Fla., Sue Lowery of Elba, Rachel Gibson of Austin, Texas, Sara Ellis of Elba; two brothers, Noah Gene Ellis of Troy, Jerome Ellis of Tallahassee, Fla.; and several neices and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9 at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.
