Alma Florence Allen

Alma Florence Allen, 84, of Troy, died Saturday, July 15, 2000 at her home.
Service were held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2000 at the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with the Revs. Johnny Fortune and Lesley Allen officiating. Burial followed at Center Ridge Cemetery in Troy with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Survivors include her husband, Earnest Allen of Troy; a daughter, Helen Martin of Troy; a son and daughter-in-law, Colley and Jean Allen of Troy; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, James Martin, a sister and two brothers.
Pallbearers were Lex Allen, Jody Davis, Gene Fortune, Jody Lyles, Gerald Senn and Preston Senn.
Ola Mae Allen
Ola Mae Allen, 89, of the New Hope Community, died Friday, July 14, 2000 at Edge Regional Medical Center.
Services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2000 at New Hope Baptist Church with the Revs. Mack King, Harold Peters, and Joe Underwood officiating. Burial followed in the New Hope Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.
Survivors include four daughters, Evelyn McCurdy of New Hope, Audrey (Henry G. ) Sellers of Texasville; Dora Dawkins of Troy, Reba Allen of Troy; three sons, Joe Bob (Sarah) Allen of Troy, Billy Dean (Betty Elizabeth) of Eagerton, Ga., John Wesley Hughes of Jesup, Ga., 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and an honorary son, Dr. John Crosby.
Elizabeth Knight Lee
Elizabeth Knight Lee, 56, of Panama City, Fla., formerly of Troy, died Friday, July 14, 2000 at Bay County Medical Center in Panama City, Fla.
Services were held at the chapel of Skeen Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Pleamens officiating. Burial followed at Hephzibah Baptist Church cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include her husband, Allen Robert Lee of Panama City, Fla., sisters, Betty K. Lott of Troy, and Lou Emma Green of Troy; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
Lee was preceded in death by two sons, Eddie Glenn Kelly and David Mark Kelly, one brother, Edward Knight, and one sister, Evelyn Owens.
