James "Bud" Duke, 75, of Grady, died Monday, June 26, 2000 at Baptist Medical Center.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2000 at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Chuck Francisco presiding. Burial will be held at Sentell Cemetery following the service with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Duke of Palm Bay, Fla., and Terri (Carl) Acreman of Ramer; a son, James (Cindy) Duke of Grady; two sisters, Frances Wood of Montgomery, Jeanie Christy of Montgomery; a brother, Billy Duke of Grady; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Brian Acreman, Carl Acreman II, Tim Acreman, Chris Duke, Johnny Wambles and Todd Wambles.

Rochell Locklar

Rochell Locklar, 97, of Henderson, died Monday, June 26, 2000 at Edge Regional Medical Center.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2000 at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Revs. John Carmichael and Andy Blackman presiding. Burial will be held at Hopewell Cemetery following the service with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include two sons Rex (Faye) Locklar of Henderson, Wiley (Glenda) Locklar of Troy; one sister, Irene Carter of Goshen; three grandchildren, DeAnna Mitchell of Montgomery, Missy McGhee of Montgomery, Eric Locklar of Las Vegas, Nev.; great-grandchildren, Brook McCord of Wetumpka; Raven Mitchell of Montgomery, Cody Crowell of Montgomery, Madison McGhee of Montgomery; great-great-grandchild, Mitchell McCord.

Locklar was preceded in death by her husband Perry Locklar, a son, Harold Locklar and a grandson, Nicky Locklar.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Henderson United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2000 at Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Memorial contributions may be made to Henderson United Methodist Church.

Annie L. Terry, 84, of Brundidge, died Monday, June 26, 2000.

Funeral services will be announced by Bell’s Liptrot/Dawson Funeral Home.
