Frank A. Mobley, 79, of Troy, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 9, 2000, at the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Revs. Steve Rascoe and Joe Bates officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia L. Mobley of Troy; one son, Michael H. Mobley of Troy; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Roy Mann of Troy and James and Dorothy Roberts of Andalusia; one brother-in-law, Arlen Roberts of Gardendale; one sister-in-law, Betty Charles Mobley of Troy, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Mollie Goodson Mobley; five sisters, Mary Lee Davis, Jessie Wilks, Lola Hughes, Cuple Dean Ramsey, Bonnie Ruth McQuillin; two brothers, James and Charles Mobley.
Honorary pallbearers for the service will be the employees of the Department of Transportation 7th Division.
Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Thursday, June 8, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, or the Park Memorial Methodist Church.
