Hellen Marie O’Neal Williams, 61, of Phenix City, died on Wednesday, May 24, 2000, at her residence.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2000, at 11 a.m. at Sandfield Cemetery (Zebulon Baptist Church) with Pastor Claude Adams officitating and Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include her husband, Erroll Flynn of Phenix City; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Nathan Allen of Banks; one son, Daniel Ming of Atlanta, GA.; two grandchildren, Benjamin Allen and Lashay Simmons of Banks; two brothers, Frank O’ Neal of Phenix City and Ray O’Neal of Pontiac, MI.; a great aunt, Helen Rice of Phenix City.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 29, 2000, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy.

Jim Tom Norman

Jim Tom Norman, 87, of Goshen, died on Sunday, May 28, 2000, at his residence.

The funeral will be held at the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Billy Nutt officiating. Burial will follow at the Green Hills Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include his children, Carola Norman and (Wallis) Jeter of Goshen, Jim Tom and (Martha) Norman Jr., also of Goshen; a stepson, Mervin S. Norman of Goshen; grandchildren and spouses. Jennifer Jeter (Billy) Smith, Trina Jeter (Jeff) Hale, Trey (Ashley) Norman, Natalie Norman Lee, Clint Norman; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Grace Norman Davidson of Oneonta.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Shirley Norman.

He was a life-long resident of Goshen and a member of the Goshen Baptist Church.

Pallbearers for the service will be his nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2000, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Claudia Crosby

Claudia Crosby, 94, of Troy, died on Monday, May 29, 2000, at her residence in Troy.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2000, at 2 p.m. at Springhill Cemetery in Springhill with the Rev. Steve Rascoe officiating and Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

There will be no visitation and family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 2 p.m. on May 30.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Park Memorial Building Fund.
