Four murder cases are scheduled to go to trial this week.

The trial of Toney DeAngelo Tuck, who has charged with capital murder, is on the docket for next week.

Tuck was one of two men charged in the murder of 19-year-old Larry Laron Tucker of Troy. Tucker was shot on July 30, 1997 in what police called a drive-by shooting on Montgomery Street that occurred around 11:15 p.m.

Bobby Tremaine Barrow, who was charged in the murder of a Miami, Fla. man, is also scheduled to go to trial. Barrow allegedly shot Felipe DeLacruz, 23, in the area of Washington Park on July 19, 1998.

The murder case in which Deiallo Teron Stringer will stand trial is also on the docket. Stringer was arrested for the murder of Troy State University student Komommo Oju Offem, 18, of Tuskegee who was shot outside E.T.’s Lounge on U.S. 231 South, between Troy and Brundidge.

Harold Dean Holt of Brundidge is to stand trial for the murder of Joe Patterson of Brundidge. Holt reportedly gave Brundidge Police a voluntary statement that he went to Patterson’s home at Grant Trailer Park where the two argued and he stabbed and cut the victim several times on May 25, 1999.

The case of a Banks woman accused of hiring three men to kill her husband is also on the docket.

Wanda Rhodes will be tried on charged of criminal solicitation to commit murder. She allegedly hired three men on Oct. 28, 1999 to kill her husband, Lamar Rhodes, who was shot three times two days later as he picked up pecans in his yard.

The wife was reportedly supposed to supply the gun and payment of $1,500. According to information revealed during the investigation, Rhodes was planning to pay the money after collecting money from her husband’s life insurance policy.

Trials will begin at 9 a.m. Monday.
