Crocs 11, Lookouts 12

The Crocs pulled one out of the fire Tuesday night with a 12-11 edging of the Lookouts in Ponytail League action.

The Crocs scored eight runs in the final two innings while holding the Lookouts scoreless in the final three to notch the victory.

Brittany Green was unstoppable at the plate for the Crocs with three singles and a homer. Teammate Bobbi Joe Strother had a triple and a single to go with a win on the mound.

Alex Barnette, Ashley Turner, Ivie Hilburn and Savanna Blazer had singles for the Crocs while Melanie Sims and Marina Coleman had homers for the Lookouts. Jodi Long had a double and Sara Sellers and Amelia Berry had singles.

Stampede 19, Wildfires 10

The Wildfires scored 10 runs in their final two at bats, but the Stampede scored to much, to often in a 19-10 victory in Ponytail action on Tuesday.

The Stampede got five runs in the first three innings and marked four more on the board in the fourth just for good measure.

Autum Welch pitched the Stampede to the victory with five strikeouts while going 2-for-2 at the plate with two doubles and three RBI’s.

Laketia Thomas also went 2-for-2 at the plate and brought most of the muscle for the Stampede with a grand slam and four RBI’s. Candi Boyd added a triple and three RBI’s.
