Kate Hunt, 82, of Birmingham, formerly of Troy, died Friday, May 5, 2000, in Birmingham.

The funeral was held graveside at 2 p.m. Sunday at Green Hills Memorial Park with the Rev. Otis Derrah officiating. Skeen Funeral Home of Troy handled arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jane H. and Jimmy Senn of Brundidge, and Mary L. and Jim Price of Birmingham; two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Hope Senn and Jeff Ferguson of Atlanta, Ga., and Jennifer and Curtis Jordan of Jackson, Miss.; one niece; one nephew; and several cousins.

Lula B. Millette

Lula B. Millette, 81, of Troy, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at Edge Regional Medical Center in Troy.

Graveside services were held Monday, May 8, at 11 a.m. at Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery in Brundidge with the Rev. John Emfinger officiating. Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge handled arrangements.

Survivors include two sisters, Octavia Ellis and her husband, Arthur Ellis of Brundidge and Lorene Allen of Daleville; one sister-in-law, Myrtle Shiver of Phenix City; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Connie Lee Turvin

Connie Lee Turvin, 87, of Brundidge, died Sunday, May 7, 2000, at Edge Regional Medical Center in Troy.

The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2000 at Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church in Brundidge with the Revs. Elmer Ellis and Shirlie Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include one daughter, Virginia Hartzog of Brundidge; three sons and daughters-in-law, James Albert and Cathy Turvin of Maryland, Leon and Letha Nell Turvin of Brundidge, and John and Becky Turvin of Brundidge; three sisters, Annie Clyde Bundy of Luverne, Lois Ellis and Alice Bundy, both of Brundidge; two brothers, Foster Ellis and Foreman Ellis, both of Brundidge; 14 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 9, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

William A. Carnley

William A. Carnley, 81, of Troy, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at Enterprise Medical Center.

The funeral will be held graveside at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Jack Assembly of God Cemetery in Jack with the Rev. Walter Faulk officiating. Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge is handling arrangements

Survivors include wife, Ida L. Carnley of Troy; one daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Gus Grant of Troy; one son and daughter-in-law, Elmer and Shirley Carnley of Troy; five grandchildren, Sandra L. Vaughn of Andalusia, Joseph Carnley of New Hope, Brandon Grant, Joshua Carnely, and B.J. Grant, all of Troy; two great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Carnely and Whitney Vaughn.

Robert Rogers

Robert Rogers, 79, of Troy, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000 at Baptist Medical Center.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 12 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dr. Milton Cutchen and Tim McQuitty officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy.

Honorary pall bearers will be the employees of the Department of Transportation.

Survivors include wife, Nancy Rogers of Troy; two daughters and sons-in-law, Connie R. and Michael Tatom of Banks, Jeanie and Jim Stark of Grenada; two daughters, Barbara Karol Hussey of Knoxville, Tenn. and Lori D. Caudle of Orange Park, Fla; one son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Beverly Rogers of Orange Park, Fla; three granddaughters and four grandsons.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy, Thursday, May 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
