second at Fort Rucker meet

The Charles Henderson golf team places second Thursday in a meet at Fort Rucker.

CHHS scored a 331 overall with Daleville edging them out with a first place 314 on the day. Houston Academy came in third with a 352 and Carroll of Ozark notched a 358 to round out the competition.

Will Mills was the low Trojan scorer with a 78. Charles Mallalieu notched a 79 just behind him and Rory Murphy had an 83 on the day to round out the top three on the Charles Henderson squad.

Next up for the CHHS golf team is a trip to Eufaula where they will play at the Red Eagle course. They will be competing against Eufaula, Valley and Rehobeth.
