Wallace J. (Button) Morris, 63, or 219 Orion Street in Troy died Thursday, March 16, 2000 at Baptist Medical Center in Montgomery.

His funeral was held at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 18 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Coffee County with the Rev. Sasser presiding. Burial will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Coffee County. Dillard Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Survivors include wife, Willie Maude Morris of Troy; daughters, Debra Sanders of Elba, Sherry Crook of Elba; grandchildren, Justin Deal, Joshua Crook, Kayle Crook; several stepchildren and step grandchildren; brothers, Earnest James Morris of Jacksonville, Fla., James Morris of Elba, C. E. Morris of Elba, Raymond Morris of Elba, Joe Mack Morris of Elba; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Gary Baker, Tad Wise, Terry Baker, Johnathan Wise, Steve Deal, Paul Parry, Lacey Qualls, and Edmond Schaffer.

Visitation was held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, March 17 at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Myrtle E. Tucker

Myrtle E. Tucker, 90, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999 in Joliet, Ill.

Her funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 26 at Union Methodist Church in Montgomery. Burial will follow at Bethel United Methodist Cemetery in Union Springs.

Survivors include Lanita (Richard) Hagedorn of Darien, Ill.; grandchildren, Tara Cooper, Scott Cooper, Rich Hagedorn, and Amber Hagedorn; and great-grandchild, Hunter Sloan.

She was born in Union Springs and resided in Montgomery most of her life until she moved to Illinois in 1993.

Clara Onyx Eagerton Tillman

Clara Onyx Eagerton Tillman, 84, 1540 County Road 105 in Jack died Friday, March 17, 2000 at Edge Regional Medical Center.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 19 at New Hope Baptist Church with the Revs. J. C. Turner and Jim Strength presiding. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Rocky Head Community. Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge is handling arrangements.

Survivors include, sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Greta Eagerton of Enterprise, Billy and Jeanne Eagerton of the New Hope Community; grandchildren, Joey and Candy Eagerton of Panama City, Fla., Shea and Brad Eagerton of the New Hope Community; sister, Mary Kraynik of Sumter, S.C.; and several other close relatives.

Pallbearers will be Billy Eagerton, Joey Eagerton, Steve Eagerton, Bart Hughes, Buddy Morrow, and Dr. Richard Schloemer.

In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to Mt. Olive Cemetery Fund or New Hope Cemetery Fund.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, March 18 at Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge.
