Mary Warren Fuller, 82, a resident of Montgomery died Wednesday, March 15, 2000.

Her funeral will be graveside at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 18 at Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. Michael J. Beale presiding. Leak Memory Chapel is handling arrangements.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Willie and Sylvia McCraney of Millbrook; brother, James Fuller of Montgomery; grandchildren, Michele McCraney, Ellen Maze, Martha Downs; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Little, Seth Downs, and Trevor Downs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Alzheimers Association National Headquarters, 70 East Lake St., Chicago, Ill 60601-9971.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Friday, March 17 at Leak Memory Chapel.

Alice Thompson Arnold

Alice Thompson Arnold, died Thursday, March 16, 2000 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

Her funeral will be graveside at 3 p.m., Friday, March 17 at Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy with the Rev. Fred W. Bailey presiding. Dillard Funeral Home in Troy is handling arrangements.

Survivors include uncles, aunts, and cousins.

She was the daughter of James A. Thompson and Mattie Lou Fryer of Troy, who preceded her in death. She was the wife of Norman O. Arnold, Jr. of Montgomery, also deceased. She was born in Troy, where she attended public school. Her advanced education studies were at Troy State University and University of Alabama. She taught 5th and 6th grades at Capitol Heights Elementary and Seth Johnson in Montgomery for 39 years. In the earlier part of her career she taught during the summer terms in the Verner Laboratory Department of Education School at the University of Alabama. She was a member of national state, and local retired teacher associations and also a member of The Delta Kappa Gamma International Society of women educators. She was a member of Dexter Avenue United Methodist Church and Susannah Wesley Bible Class.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., March 17 at the funeral home.
